Hi everyone, I a new resident of Leominster and I want to join a range. I just picked up a new CZ 527 and want to start plinkin soon.

I checked out the North Leominster club and the Lunenburg club websites, but neither are very revealing. Does anyone recommend one or the other?

i am a member of lunenburg sportsmans club. $35/year, VERY quiet club. main focus is archery. 100 yrd rifle range, im estimating about 20yard pistol range (you just kinda walk up to where you want to shoot from) maybe twice i have seen someone else there. which i enjoy fully.

i shot trap a couple weekends ago at the rifle range too

Thanks Docyit. In general, do these clubs allow visitors to come with you?

I would like to take my dad now and then.

havent joined NLRG yet, but i have never been told on either side at lunenburg. my dad comes with me just about everytime i go there. couple weekends ago for my bday i brough my dad and two friends and we were there for a few hours with no problems. only saw one other person shooting skeet with his daughter anyhow.

atilla and i belong to north leominster.the club has 200 yard rifle and the pistol is i think out to 50 yards plus archery too.nice range with nice as well as helpful members.

I believe all clubs allow MEMBERs to bring a guest. I do know a guest must be with a member at my two clubs and one I attend as a guest.

well, I popped a check in the mail today to the Leominster Sportsman Association today, so hopefully I'll be trying out a new rifle very soon....How sweet it is [smile]
