OK before you purists call for the firing squad. This 1914 Colt was a baked case. Th .455 barrel was missing, no magazine and all the finish was gone. This is also part of a large project to customize one of every Colt caliber or as the Brits say "calibre". Ammo is rare and I only have one original cartridge, but am in the process of making brass from .45 LC which will work. The new "old" barrel was found by the owner in the inter webs. The magazine was split and had to be welded back into shape. I can't wait to shoot it( we did test fire it with the 45LC loads) The barrel is a little worse for wear but usable.
