Description : I thought I had all of these pre-sold, but I have one more Albanian SKS up for grabs. These came straight from the Balkan wars and were made in Albania. Approximately 17,000 were produced in total. After the conflict, NATO destroyed about 11,000. Thus making only 6,000 left in existence today.
The Albanian SKS is rarer than its Chinese, Yugoslavian, Romanian, and Russian counterparts. Only the North Vietnamese, East German and North Korean SKS would be considered rarer. Unique to this model is the extended gas tube cover and hand guard which provides the user more hand protection from a hot barrel/hot gas tube. Additionally, it sports a black spiker bayonet influenced by the Chinese spiker.
This example has all matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, bolt carrier, trigger guard, magazine, stock, and gas tube. Definitely has some wear on the metal and dings on the stock from its service life. Still in very good shape overall with loads of character. The rifling is also sharp and shiny. No cracks in the stock.
