Re Bluing S&W Revolver

Really up to you. If you're going to keep it and want something that looks as good as it shoots, by all means get it refinished.

Most folks would just leave it since a proper refinish will be about 50% of the value of the gun and the refinishing itself would usually reduce the value by that as well.
 
A couple of years ago I had S&W do a re-bluing of a model 17 since I was sending it in
for repair. They did a fine job. Don't expect it to look like the old bluing though. It's
dark. From what I understand (have no clue if this is correct) the chemicals they used
to use in re-bluing are loaded with carcinogens and are not used any longer.
