It has become clear that there is a fresh crop of posters who - along with (or perhaps because of) a few incorrigible regulars - cannot have a discussion without the use of racial slurs and personal attacks. It is getting very old, and makes us all look bad. As we've done in the past, and resuming immediately, the moderators and I are going to be issuing infractions for any slur or personal attack - not just against NES members, but public figures as well. The infraction system automatically hands out bans on the 2nd infraction. If you are not sure if what you are about to post might result in an infraction, it would be wise to refrain from posting it.
