Recoil different between Glock 19 and Glock 26.

I have a G19, and would like to get a G26 as a carry gun. How much recoil does the 26 has compares to the G19. The only experience I have on baby Glock is G36, which is a 45 ACP.

Are you having difficulty concealing the 19? Or is it just that every Glock needs a buddy?

Would like to get something smaller in size, which I had compared the G19 with G36. I know there are many sub compacts out there, but I would like to stick with Glock.

You certainly can't go wrong there. I haven't shot the 26 in some time, but I don't remember thinking the recoil was that much more significant.

I have both. The 26 is a little snappier, but not by much. I run 127 gr +P+ out of mine as a carry load and it's still not bad at all.

What they said. Not much difference at all. As long as you're ok with a 2-finger grip you'll be fine.

Maybe its me, but i honest feel the 26 recoil is no much different than my 17, only time it feels different is when i have my 33 rd'ers in. With the 17 it becomes a laserbeam with no upwards recoil and stays put due to the weight.. i do love my 26 and couldnt live without 1 .you will be happy with it.

Hmmm...I like the Glock 36, I was gonna get a seecamp .32, but now...


anybody what the recoil's like on a 36?

The recoil on a G36 was little too much for me, compares to a G19, that is the reason why I want to get a G26.
