Registration and Serialization

If this law is going to be a disaster for years, I don’t think there will be any penalty for not registering.

Years from now, who will even remember all the details.

I think they just have to give a free pass for non compliance.
Except when they want to get you for something else and go looking for a charge, or use it as an excuse not to return a gun.

Think Boston will return an unregistered gun to someone who has it taken for safekeeping when they are being transported by ambulance, or in an ER?

Is there an unknown option? I would assume if we guess it's a crime. I can remember zero purchase dates other than the gallon of gas I bought this morning for my lawnmower.
That is cute. Most likely there won't be an option unless it is a text field that allows you to type "I don't remember".

Example: I have a receiver I purchased on a NES group buy, sometime around 2012 or 2013, I can't rememebr now. I know I picked it up from Acme in Plympton, but they don't exist anymore.

I never built the lower so I didn't FA10 it.

In this case, if it is mandatory to enter a specific date, I don't know what I would have to do. It will be impossible for me to give an accurate date or accurate year.

F*ck, I dont even remember the exact date of my last frame purchase, and that was sometime this summer. I don't even remmeber the dealer name, since it was a room with several dealers.

I won't sweat it now. Worst case I will pay a lawyer when the time comes and have him write something.

My guess is it might just ask if the gun was possesed ON or before 8/1 and allow people to skip dealer name / date and so on or have a twxt field like the eFA10.

Was that "the state", or the seminar offered by Chief (ret) Glidden's LE training company.

According to the ossifer, it was the state. All sorts of "Well, we think the new law says this, the old law said that, we're not sure what's going on. We'll keep you posted when we figure it out."

Will the date field allow <8/01/24

If these are the Delaware Machinery lowers, they were transfered to us in Feb. 2010. I bought two in that group buy, via Acme.
