Remington 870 Tactical question

Hoping this is the right place to post...I picked up the Tactical Express today and it was the last one (they sold me the display model). I noticed later today a small ship on the barrel above the pump. It's very small, but wasn't sure the best way to touch it up? Thanks.

EDIT - I should mention I tried to rub it out but now all you can see if where I rubbed...HAHA.

I just looked at it again...appears to be more a paint issue. When you rub your finger over it, you can feel a VERY faint indent but the scratch is black which I assume means it didn't get beyond the paint. It's very small...I might not even have noticed it had it not been for the fact that I was admiring it. I even thought maybe it was some sort of stamp on the barrel, but using a flashlight it looks like a few small tear drop shaped scratches.

AMEN!!! If your shotgun doesn't have any scratches on it then your doing something wrong.....

HAHA...point taken. Yeah it's no Benelli M4. It's just that it was bought new...would prefer to be the one to mark it up. The store did agree to look at it and if it was a defect, get a replacement.

If it was my kid with a skinned knee I'd say rub some dirt on it and call it a day. A ding on a shotgun is about the same.
