Location :Braintree Rifle and pistol, face to face
Description : Remington pre model 8, built in 1907 per the serial number. This Rifle was a friend's grandfathers and he took a lot of deer with it in Minnesota, you betcha. There is no caliber stamped on the rifle but bore diameter indicates it is chambered in 32 Remington. The bore is bright and shiny. Exterior metal finish is great for a 100 plus year old gun. The stock has a chip at the butt plate. These rifles take down easily. Post 1910 the take down screw was also a sling swivel. This one has a screw only, right thread and pitch. These rifles were one of the original autoloader. The FBI used them.
Accessories : I have 3 boxes of factory ammo. One complete, 20 rounds, one 17 rounds and one 12 rounds. Brass for reloading is available from Graf brother and I believe Buffalo Bore occasionally has ammo available
