I’m on the hunt for Remington RPX20 shotgun wads. They are used in a recipe to load Lyman 20 gauge sabot slugs. It seems as they may be discontinued and Lyman says they do not have an updated recipe with different wads and warn of pressure spikes if changing components. Has anyone ever used a replacement for this recipe or familiar with it?

5th edition Lyman shotshell reloading manual

Fiocchi Hull, fiocchi 616 primer, 21 grains Universal, Remington RPX20 wad, 350 gr Lyman sabot slug, fold crimp, 1450 fps at 10,600 psi.

Federal 20S1 wads can be used with Blue Dot and Fed 209 primers. I have most of the ingredients for the first recipe.

Be willing to buy or trade for the RXP20 wads if some has a surplus they do not use anymore. Thanks in advance.

Not sure where you are but out back arms in plympton had a good amount of wads on the floor , sub gauges too. 410, 28
