Earlier this week, the House Judiciary Committee passed a bill HR 38, a bill that allows licensed concealed firearm holders to carry in other states that allow concealed carry.

However, for Rep. Thomas Massie, R-KY, this bill does not go far enough. On X, he said “ I support this bill, but there is a better option, and it is National Constitutional Carry.”

He added, “29 states already have Constitutional (i.e. permitless) Carry. Why not extend it to all 50 states?”

The Massie bill. H.R. 645 is terrible because it includes this:

‘‘(d) The term ‘public’ as used in this section— ‘‘(1) includes any place held open to the public, regardless of ownership, but in the case of a privately-owned location held open to the public, does not include a place where the owner communicates clearly and conspicuously a prohibition of firearms on the premises; and

Jim Crow 2.0. Signs prohiting entry by blacks or any other minority were outlawed 60 years ago. Why should gun owners be treated any differently? Boycots dont work and right now today, those signs mean nothing in NH but if Massie passes his bill they will mean something. It is an anti gun bill.
Yeah, I know private property... I call BS. Your home is private -- NOT OPEN to the public. The Shaws or Hannford is NOT PRIVATE, it is open to the public.

I’ve come to realize that their announcements are merely for entertainment.
And fund raising. They live off donations.

Look the Hudson bill. H.R. 38. No off limits places and is constitutional carry friendly It says:

carry a concealed firearm or is entitled to carry a concealed firearm in the State in which the person resides, may possess or carry a concealed handgun
Meaning residents of states that do not require a permit can carry everywhere without one. And it also says:
and who is carrying a valid license or permit which is issued pursuant to the law of a State

Meaning if someone living in NY or NJ can't get a permit, they can get one from another state (Florida, Utah etc) and carry everywhere.

The H.R. 38 Hudson bill is the better bill.
