It is similar to the difference in the grips of a G26 vs a G19

The 26 grip is not long enough for me to be comfortable with without a extended floor plate but the 19 is good.

The 43X grip is similar to a G19 in length and is why I say if you can live with the 10 round mags or swap the mag release and use Shield 15 round magazines it is a better gun than the G26 assuming you don't need the rail and it gives the G19 a run for the money with the Shield mags again giving up the rail.
