Trend is G45....bigger handle shorter slide......I've been just carrying a full size for years cause i hated the small handle micro guns.
Shortest I'll go is a G19 handle. If you just buy a 47 itll be 17 size, and you can throw a 19 slide on it. Same spring.....I would just buy both and have redundant parts.
I think G48 is a nice gun in the thin/small category just lacks capacity...my Mossberg MC2C is really reliable and cheap as shit in that space and carries 16 with a bit longer handle which I like alot. I don't care about shtf mags and all that in that space.
No reason to make anything without a RMR cut on it anymore as the competition both Turkish and American are there already for alot cheaper.
Same with the N/S models....trend is windshields for some stupid reason for carry.
Ive been hearing about DQing .40 for a while now.....Ive got conversions for my G22 for 9mm and 357, and I can reload 40 as well. But don't really care....Ive got a bunch of 17's as STHF bug out bag guns, and like everyone else as you get older just going to 9mm.
