I currently own 7 Glocks. I’ve been shooting them for 35 years.  I’ve shot over 50,000 rounds through Glocks.  Most of those are 9mm but some .40S&W.  I’ve never had or seen a Glock kaboom.


I’ve never had the rifling lead up, but I don’t shoot bare lead bullets.


Only the earliest unlined Glock mags didn’t drop free — that was a design requirement from the Austrian Army. Glock mags have been drop free for decades.


No, the sights aren’t in any way reminiscent of a WWI 1911.  The stock Glock sights do suck, so I replace them immediately.


The trigger isn’t great.  The ergonomics are a touch better now, but still feels like a brick.  But they are reliable,  accuracy is decent, they are cheap, and the capacity is good.


I’ve had a lot of 1911s, which are the polar opposite in many ways, but these days I carry and compete with Glocks.
