Here are costs from a reloader's perspective.

9mm 115gr RN coated bullets, 750 @ $73.14 = ¢9.8 per bullet
9mm 147gr FP coated bullets, 750 @ $85.13 = ¢11.4 per bullet
45ACP 230gr RN coated bullets, 650 @ $102.59 = ¢15.8 per bullet

That is 61% more for the 45 ACP compared to 115gr 9mm.

9mm 115gr FMJ RN, 500 @ 61.99 = ¢12.4 per bullet
