Restore bluing that is turning brown

Is there a polish or something that can help reverse this? My chinese tokarev is in overall good shape, and indoors the blue looks good, but if you put it in bright light, you can see that it is mottled with brown.

This isn't a collector/milsurp piece, so for some reason the patina doesn't feel the same

Oil and a bronze brush or bronze wool. Rub gently and wipe constantly with cotton to pick up the loosened rust
