Effective this Friday, 5/1/20, Great Swamp Shooting Range is opening back up. The range was recently refurbished in 2018. Key bullet points:

- You apply for a five-year use permit, which is free
- Open to handguns, muzzleloaders, centerfire, rimfire, and shotguns
- Fifty and one-hundred yard shooting bays
- Range is open seven days a week, 8:30am-6pm, "late spring" to September 30
- Application requires a Hunter's Safety card, hunter's license, Blue Card, RI carry permit, military ID, or "Equivalent Certificate"
