RI Gun Ranges

I want to join a range as soon as I get my gun back from Ruger. I was just wondering what are some of the more popular ranges here. What does it mean if a range is private?

Where in RI are you? if your in the East Bay, there is the East Warren Rod and gun, great club btw, 100 yds max range, there is the Somerset Sportsman Club, 300 yd max range, and East Providence has an indoor pistol range, If your in the Providence area, i would suggest the Manville range, very good too. Those are the only ranges ive heard about or been to.

YOU CAN ALWAY JOIN IN MASS JUST TRANSPORT SAFLEY

Massasoit is indoors/pistol only 50' and 75' ranges. 75' is members only, to join go to the meeting on the first Monday in the month. East Warren is mostly a skeet/trap club with a semi sheltered outdoor pistol/rifle rang out to 100 yards. Both are great places with totally opposite cultures. MGC is a 24/7 walk in and shoot GC. EWR&GC is a weekend clay target club with a full bar
