In case anyone was interested, I had an email conversation with the CEO of Rock Island Armory yesterday. I asked if there were any plans to submit RIA guns to MA for "approval". He responded back within just a couple of hours saying that they're actually in the process of submitting four models for approval, with more to follow after the first round. I asked if he would disclose the four being submitted, and he told me that they are the GI FS, the CS (Compact), 5-inch Tactical and 5-inch Match.
Yes, I know how often we hear rumors of things coming to MA, and even if this happens who knows how long it will be. However, I've heard great things about RIA's firearms and customer service. The CEO's quick responses to me, Joe Consumer (in a state where they don't even sell), and the fact that they are *trying* to jump through the hoops to sell here raises my opinion of RIA even more so.
