Man thats ugly. 50th anniversary? They could of went with some nicer wood, longer barrel, maybe some nice engraving on the receiver, a buttplate that doesnt feel like its covered in teflon. (hate that) Instead they o.d. on plastic and tacticool. Bummer.

The sights are great, and one of the selling points. I'm with you on the flash hider, I don't care either way.

Yeah my eyes get real tired with the irons on my take down. I just put a cheap 4x scope on it. I'm not looking to shoot match with it just practice fundamentals and ping some steal so I'm not worried.

The irons on this model are a huge upgrade.

Kinda not impressed for a 50th year etc model .

They are ruger sights, maybe from a mini-14? I think all the adjustment is in the rear sight.
