For those that have a 10/22, what stock are you running if it's not stock? Looking for inspiration for a stock that works with the Green Mountain bull barrel I just got. Still trying to decide if I'm going to swap over the stock trigger group or buy a new one.

no stock, bare metal, looks beautiful.

"Works" as in function or ... ugh, "looks"? There are "dress up" kits, plastic, wood, google and you will find all kind of crap.

Triggers, there are many, from parts kits to drop into house, to complete groups for $300.

I would like a stock with adjustable comb or a high comb. My eye always ends up below the line of sight of the scope. I don't like to balance my chin on the stock like so many stocks make me do.

I have a 10/22 from my dad. It was in his truck when he died from getting hit by a drunk driver. The stock is cracked. I'd like to swap it out but don't want a wooden stock that's neon orange. Any way to find replacement stocks near original?

I did google this and hence the neon orange comment

I went with a Boyd Tacticoolio in an unfinished laminate from Midway. Now I have to decide if I'm just going the swap over the fire control group from my current 10/22 carbine (which is 15 years old) or build up a complete new one.

Not that I'm asking anybody to hold my hand while I do this (I have a cold at the moment), but what do you guys recommend as a """"good"""" receiver?

Good choice going with the Tacticool stock. Here's mine with the Tacticool stock:
View attachment 123731
Green Mountain 20" barrel
Kidd single stage trigger group (1.5# pull, incredible trigger)
Kidd Bolt Buffer
Kidd Guide Rod and Spring kit
Kidd Bolt Handle
Volquartsen Extractor
UTG Bipod
Nikon ProStaff Rimfire 3-9x40 scope w/BDC

If I did it over again, I would have went with a stainless bull or fluted barrel from Green Mountain or Kidd.

I'm assuming you're asking what we recommend for a trigger assembly/fire control group not a receiver? A new receiver would involve an FFL or eFA10 if you bought it off someone here on NES as the receiver is the gun. I'd recommend the Kidd single stage trigger group. This guy machines all of the parts and the trigger is just insane. I don't pull the trigger, I just gently tap it and it will fire.
