Ruger 10/22 TD Scope - What would you use

Just purchased the Ruger 22 Takedown rifle.
Has anyone else purchased one and put a scope on it?
What did you get? Does the stock fit back into the bag with the scope on?

I have a simmon 4x scope from wally world. It's barely fit but I was able to snug it back into the bag. I wouldn't put any bigger scope on it.

I'd probably go with something like an aimpoint micro or mini red dot on a rifle like that. One of the knockoffs is probably fine for a 22, take a look at Primary Arms.

Go mini. I have a Wally World special and the thing barely fits. However, it is nice to have the reach that a larger scope produces.
