Ruger American .308 experience

Hey everyone, im new on here but was told that i woul get the best results from this forum.
I have an offer for a trade for my Armasight nightvision setup for a Ruger American Kryptek .308 with LaRue rings, Vortex Diamondback 4-12 scope, claw sling, decelerator recoil pad, picantinny rail and 4rd mag
Looking for people experience with a Ruger .308 as this will be my first rifle so it is a "beginner" rifle for me

I don't have one in .308 but I have a Ruger American Ranch in .223 and a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor. Both are tack drivers. For accuracy I'd put them up against a rifle several time the price. Fit and finish wise the look like the ~$400 gun they are.

My son has one in 308.
Great little rifle.
There was some magazine issues , but Ruger took care of replacements, no questions asked.

My first bolt action rifle, and after a couple trips shooting at 100 yards(my first times ever) I got this with 4 rounds. Not bad for an inexpensive rifle with a novice shooter imo.

I had some mag issues with my .223. Ruger sent a new mag. I actually haven't tried the new mag yet.

Thanks for the input guys. I ahould have it this week but i orob wont get to shoot till after xmas when i can actually afford anmo and have time to go to a range haha
