ruger p series

So I hate the way the Sr series looks but I do like the p95's and dinosaur looking ones. Anyone have any experience with them or know how to find them now. Pros cons gimme a good feel gents.

shot but never owned one. the P95 seems like a nice gun. absolute tank. if running out of ammo you can just swing the gun around like a billy club. if i find a good deal on one will probably pick one up at some point. but good lord are they fugly.

You find the SR series ugly and not the P series? Different strokes I suppose.

Yea I know I read all the reviews about them and I see how the reviewer is in love with the looks I just think they are hideous the p95 just looks better to me I'm not saying it's a sig or like a Wilson but I want one from every major maker at least and I can't stomach the Sr line. I do like the 1911s too but I'm saving my pennies for a custom job

I also think the sigma with the front cockin serrations looks better than the m&p but I could just be an odd duck

I have the P89 and it was the first handgun that I ever got 17 years ago. It still runs well. It cycles reliably and is an absolute beast. The trigger isn't that good and it is probably the firearm that I am least accurate with, but I know that it will go bang every time I pull the trigger.

I have a P95, it is not my favorite gun but it is accurate and for the most part trouble free. I only had issues with it once and it was solved buy a good cleaning and lubrication. They can be had fairly cheap.
not sure where you are located but if you are near Worcester i would be willing to let you shoot it

Haven't shot one, but I shot a P89 and heard both are workhorses. If your looking for a budget DA/SA 9mm you might also want to consider a Sig SP 2022.

I had one I didn't like it I actually like the way the p95 looks lol I have nicer guns Berettas and sigs and an fnh 9 I'm probably getting an hk this summer too lol but I genuinely like the look of them. I'm figuring I can get one decently cheap and I'm not like in any rush to find it just was one of those things where I liked it but can't find much on them other then they are ugly workhorses

Lol that's all you can ask for how many rounds can they hold and are all the p series mags interchangable?
