I did a quick search for "SR 22" and didnt see anything.
I bought one last night at Four Seasons. I took it home, cleaned it, and went to the range today.
I shot 600 rounds. 250 Federal Bulk Jacketed, and 350 Blazer. I Did not have any issues with the blazer, not even one failure. With the Federal the only issue I had is that for some reason the second round failed to feed. At first I thought that maybe the Federal rounds did not have enough power to make the slide go all the way back, but almost all the failures to feed that I had were with the second round. A couple of times I had failures with the third or fourth. Any thoughts?
The blazer ammo was great, not one single failure.
I will try mini mags this week.
In 600 rounds I only had one failure to eject.
The gun is very accurate and pretty comfortable to shoot. It is also a lot of fun to shoot. I was hitting a metal plate about the size of a paper plate at 50 yards.
Update 6/16
I shot 80 rounds of Blazer.
Update 6/17:
Today I shot 205 Blazer and 200 Winchester Hollow points I bought in Walmart (also a 555 value pack).
The Winchester worked fine, but for some reason I had two mags where every other round would fail to feed. I shot the Winchester after shooting 80 rounds on 6/16 and 205 rounds on 6/17, and I did not clean the gun before shooting the Winchester.
If anyone was carrying this gun I would not recommend the Winchester ammo. I didn't have constant failures like I I did with Federal, but I still had a few.
Ammo shot so far:
635 Blazer.---Only one failure (one failure to eject)
250 Federal---The second round almost always failed to feed.
200 Winchester---Not bad for plinking. An occasional Failure to feed, but not good if you want to carry a .22 (I dont carry a .22)
Note: I did not clean the gun before shooting different brands of ammo. The first time I shot 250 Federal and then 350 blazer without cleaning the gun. I only cleaned the gun when I got home.
Also, all the ammo is bulk ammo. I did not try CCI mini mags yet. I will try those next week.
