12.7 by what? That mag doesn't look very long. Perhaps wide is the better term. My point was that the mag didn't appear to have much room for a long round. I didn't know the Russians had 12.7 short round.

the mag is for 5 rounds, realistic distance is 600-800 meters, that's lame. It's apparently very quiet, comparable to 9mm suppressed rifles (39x9)

If you are shooting at 1k-2k, like most 50cal are used for, I don't think that you need to be that crazy quiet. There are a bunch of flash hiders that reduce flash and dust kicked up by the rifle. Yes, you'll hear it, but figuring out where the shot came from, 1k-2k away isn't easy, that's a lot of horizon to scan, unless there is a cloud of dust rising.

Remember that this is a subsonic round. The standard 59 GRAM bullet works out to over 900 grains. This is not a long distance rifle. While it could be mechanically capable of excellent accuracy at distance, the massive hold over (or need to crank the elevation turret) would make practical application this way difficult.

It looks like the intended range is 100 to 200 yards.
