S&W 1911 Pro Series 3" Mag ?

I'm thinking of buying one of these. Primary issue that I see is the stock mags hang out about 1/2" from the base of the grip frame. Anyone else have one of these or know of any mags that would fit flush (without bumpers)?

Any officers mags will fit fine.

I believe the bit you're seeing sticking out is just a mag with a removable baseplate. Mags with a permanent baseplate should fit flush.

I'll have to try an officers mag.

Almostelmo the thing is the stock mags still hang out 1/2" or so even without the baseplate. I did some research online and you can even see this in the picts from S&W. Might just be me but I don't like that in a carry gun.
