S&W 22a vs. Beretta Neos

I've been looking into .22 semi's for plinking and plates.
I've narrowed down to two....well, I had it down to the 22a but then I got turned on to the Neos....The "laser blaster" seems to get excellent reviews both from the pros and regulars jos'. I had to give it a second look. After reading on them I totally got past the style and have put one on the top of my list. I need to get out and handle both but I was wondering what you NESers thought of the two

Can't comment on the Neos other than to say it is ugly as sin. But good luck with whichever you end up with!

The Neos reminds me of the original Nintendo Zapper. I am in the market for a .22 also, so I am looking forward to some responses.

To me the Neos just doesn't look like a firearm. I guess I'm a traditionalist.
Have you looked at the Browning Buckmark series. There's a ton of different ones to choose from. They're perfect for plinking and light target work.

22A is a great gun and one of the best values on the market, IMO.
