S&W 442 for pocket carry. Any issues with the steel cylinder?

I'm considering a S&W 442 for pocket carry. Does anyone think the carbon steel cylinder will have problems in that environment? I prefer black otherwise I'd get a 642.

What I'd really like is a 442 with a stainless cylinder. Does such a thing exist? (yes, I know about the M&P but it costs a lot more)

I have a 442 in my pocket now, in a Desantis Nemesis holster. i don't think it's an issue

Shouldn't be an issue. Just wipe it down regularly with some oil or clp.
