S & W 625 series in 45acp

I'm on my second - excellent revolver for action pistol events, or even if you just want to use the same ammo in a revo and your 1911.

Do any of you have a problem using semi-auto shot 45 ACP brass in your revolvers?

Respectfully,

And No John, I have never had any brass problems but I switched a long time ago to nickel only for matches.

BTW, the Pinto used to be a 4"

Edit to add, both of these are about 5 to 6 pound double action trigger pull

I have a 5 inch 625-6 in 45acp and use full moon clips. 625's are a great gun. It will fire any 45acp round you feed it.

I bought deluxe moon clip tool for it. It was well worth the 35 bucks.

Whether auto or revolver-shot, it all goes in the tumbler and then is finished up with a Lee Final Crimp Die.

No problems.

The S&W 625 and the 45 ACP cartridge are a match made in handgun heaven.

My 625-2 Model on 1989 will digest and "crap" brass that I fed it. The gun in very versatile.
