S&W...all stainless?

Hi all... this is a question that I've never been able to get a straight answer to. In a S&W 686 stainless, are ALL the steel parts some version of stainless steel? Is the bore stainless steel? What about the springs? I realize there are different alloys which are called "stainless" and that they have slightly different levels of corrosion resistance... just wondering if the 686 has any definitely non-stainless parts. Especially curious about the bore and the springs. Thanks!

I believe at least some of the internals are carbon steel.

Just remember that even stainless steel can corrode.
