I bought one, essentially as new. I mounted it and swung it a bit, felt nice so I took the chance. I have a dedicated trap gun but not a o/u. Will this be ok for skeet or sporting clays events? I’ve yet to try either so I am hopeful. Insight appreciated!

I have a dedicated trap combo. I bought a sporting gun with 30" barrels and after checking the pattern, shot a couple of boxes on the trap range to see how it handled. I covered the bird and it responded very well. Little more recoil than my trap gun, but my trap gun is a 34" unsingle and 32" o/u. Swinging the 32" o/u is like a big suv shooting doubles, and the 30" sport is like a sports car! Go out and shoot and enjoy your new toy!
