S&W M&P 2.0 Compact 9, 10 round magazines only hold 9. ??

Anyone have the experience of these Mass emasculated magazines that are supposed to hold 10, only holding 9?

The customer service woman at Smith suggested sending them back for eval after cleaning them. She said she never saw this before.

Anyone see this with their mags?

Some of my 1911 mags advertise 9 capacity. Only 8 is actually possible.
