51 oz.... If you could find a dealer to pull the break off and put a thread protector on I bet you could get it under 50 oz.

I don't know if I would ever get it, but would like it to be available to anyone who does. I'm not crazy about those GSG's (hk clones), but from what I've heard, they are well made and are really fun to shoot according the the guys at MFL

Seems like this gun would be an answer to them

ATI makes a version of the GSG now that is under 50oz. It's CA legal, but obviously is not on the EOPS list...
