If you not working and in the area maybe we should have our own presence there for support.

Dear Friends of Safer Communities:

Imagine that your house is on fire. In seconds, the flames will engulf all your worldly possessions. You only have time to take one thing with you, and get out.

Would you choose your child, or your gun?

Senator Kelly Ayotte chose the gun. By voting down bi-partisan legislation to require criminal and mental health background checks for internet and private gun sales – a measure supported by 9 in 10 NH voters – Sen. Ayotte turned her back on the victims and families of Sandy Hook. She turned her back on Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney, who was shot and killed by a criminal offender who got the guns through private transfers. She turned her back on New Hampshire parents, who will go to bed tonight wondering if the next tragic episode of gun violence will devastate their own town, or destroy their own family.

Instead of supporting moderate, commonsense gun policy to make our communities safer, Kelly Ayotte sided with gun manufacturers and paid lobbyists whose sole mission is to stop legislation that could prevent them from selling more guns to more people, no questions asked.

Let Senator Ayotte know that you will not forget – and that you will not stop speaking out about the urgent need for stronger gun safety laws in America.

If you can’t join us at the protest vigil in Nashua on Saturday, it’s important to email or call Senator Ayotte and let her know how you feel about her vote to kill the background check bill. The number for her Washington office is 202-224-3324; here’s the link to send an email:
Offices | Kelly Ayotte - United States Senator

And while you’re at it, please call or email Senator Jeanne Shaheen to thank her for doing the right thing by supporting the Manchin-Toomey background check amendment. The number for her Washington office is 202-224-2841; the link to send an email is here:
Contact | Jeanne Shaheen - United States Senator for New Hampshire

We lost Round One – but there’s plenty of fight left in New Hampshire’s grassroots gun violence prevention movement and we’re determined to make progress. Won’t you join us?

In peace and solidarity,

Judy Stadtman

Wait, what? I knew these people were stupid, but that's completely incoherent.

I'm not available to show up to this idiocy on Saturday, but will email Senator Ayotte and voice my support.

Last time I checked New Hampshire's logo is "Live Free or Die." SOOO, who they HELL (Safer NH) do they think they are trying to bully senators that stood up for our rights. I do not live near NH...unfortunately and hopefully not for long...but I hope there is a counter protest. Further more if they don't like the laws of NH....leave!!!!

So we should protest the protesters and support the senator that voted down what these moonbats/fudds wanted, right? Wasn't this the same senator that wanted to still impose 'feel-good' restrictions (or 'common sense' as they tend to call them)?

How about printing up the 2A large enough to read from many feet away and using that against the fudds? Of course, they won't get it.

BTW, one of the reasons that I moved to NH was for the 'live free or die' mentality. IF I had any kids, that would also mean I'm married, so the wife can get the kids out of the fire first, while I get our protection (or as much as I can grab in time). Or get the kids to each carry what they can AS we get them out too. Priorities people. You can always make more kids, you can't always replace the firearms (not serious about letting children fall victim here, that would be stupid and wrong).

Safer Communities NH... One of those faux-grassroots organizations fueled by Bloomberg's money?

Maybe we should tell them to go hop the border back to Massachusetts (and New York) and keep their gun grabbing and crime where it belongs. NH has some of the lowest crime rates in the nation, and if anything its laws should be a model for other states.

They are all from Mass.. I'm looking at the facebook page and the majority of the people are from MA...

Well I don't have kids, my husband is a former firefighter so I probably won't have to help him out, and the dog kinda follows us around, sooo....can I keep my guns then? Heck, the pup has his own loadout, imagine all the guns we could rescue with 4 un-child-encumbered hands and a pack animal!

Agreed that it is a stupid analogy. But it is fun to play with ;)

It's on April 20. The birthday of Adolf Hitler, an out-of-control socialist who implemented gun registration and confiscation. Very appropriate. He would have been proud.

I will go. Anyone else on board?

Make our part 'open carry' and it's a possibility... Although I'll be working on getting things setup for the 80% build party that day. Damn... Not going to protest an anti-gun protest so that I can get ready for us to build some guns... [smile]

Actually they are a spin off group of Moveon.org, the Soros organziation. Click on Signon.org, on the bottom of the first post and read the masthead.

And zero of them would ever support Ayotte anyway. Bleep those nuts. Also look at their plates, I bet half or more will have mass plates.

I'm half tempted to show up and join them with some sign that makes them look insane.. "Demand the guns out of the hands of blacks" or something more offensive if I can think of it.

I live in Nashua so I guess I'll be there. I need to find time to make a sign to thank Kelly for voting no. Without a sign people may think I'm part of the anti-2a crowd.

If it's being held on Hitler's birthday, "Happy birthday Hitler. We will never forget you". Would be an option too
