I'm working on my first AR build (and first rifle) coming from exclusively handguns. I've always shot at private clubs at 50yds, but now I'm looking to reach our further (300-400yds). I know that there are people up in NH who shoot in sand pits, hidden neck of the woods, conservation area or even huge private property that go back 100's of yards, and I was hoping someone here would be willing to share with me where that is. I know this is a sensitive question since it's nice to have a private and quiet place to shoot, but I wanted to ask anyway and I promise I'm appreciative of your concern in keeping a nice spot private. Sand Pits/Open Fields/Conservation Land in NH for shooting

First if you get popped(legal or not) shooting in a sandpit in MA, the news report and police report are going to say you were a reckless knucklehead and most here will believe it and throw you from the 'group' and under the bus.
Second because of that I doubt there are many sandpits being shot in round here, and if there are it would be dumb to share.

I think that is why he is looking in NH
Because range rules, yardage limits, typically no elevation changes and fudds suck when you just want to spend a day shooting long and variable distances well beyond 200yards.
