So a little background: My grandparents just moved back from Alabama. Proper paperwork is being filed, and I will be the proud owner of a lightly used Ruger M77 MKII chambered in .308. Its a high polish stainless/laminate stock model. And its a compact model w/16.5" sporter barrel. Nikon Buckmaster 3x-9x mounted on top. Along with this I'm getting a Marlin Model 60 and a Winchester Ranger 140.
I don't have much knowledge of the M77 line, or the .308 for that matter. Not sure if this is a rare variant being the high polish stainless/laminate/compact isn't listed on Ruger's website. Bring on the info! (I will be using the search function as well as google for the time being).
Thanks.
