Just thought I'd share. I saw an ad pinned up at the gun range last night after leaving my monthly pin shoot competition. Guy was selling a Massachusetts compliant P239 9mm in state, so I decided to give him a call to inquire. He said it was in excellent condition, comes with all factory items, 2 mags, comp-tac fitted holster, hogue rubber wrap around grips, stainless steel guide rod, and 100 rounds of WWB ammo for $400!

For that price, I assume the "excellent condition" firearm he was referring to wasn't so "excellent". Sure enough when I drive there to see it, the thing looks like it just came out of the box.

I am very excited about this P239, I think for what I got (accessories and ammo included) I got a killer deal on a fine Sig. I'll be hanging onto this for a while. Like I said I'm excited and I just thought I'd share. [smile]

Pics to come this weekend.

You got yourself a great gun for short money.

Tell me about it. [smile]

This is my second P239. The only reason I got rid of the first was because it didn't have an accessory rail for a flash light for home defense. But now that I got my P229, that problem is solved and this is my new CCW piece. [laugh2]

I think they're fantastic, well made little shooters and make a great choice for a concealed weapon.

I like how you wanted to drop by on way home to just prove to yourself it wasn't a dream.... [wink]

Speaking of dreaming... Janine said I was reaching over her in the middle of the night searching the bed asking "where's my Sig", LOL. True story.

By the way, the P239 fits perfectly in my Glock 19 leather Tagua OWB holster - one less thing to buy. [smile]

Took it to the range yesterday and put a few rounds through it. I shoot it better than my P229 E2. [shocked]
