Today I traded my Smith-Corona M03A3 for this 1920 M03 Colt in .32acp. I regretted selling my first 1920 M03 Colt, but that's life. Serendipity in that the one I got to replace it is also dated 1920, but about 2,000 earlier, so late fall of 1920. This one is not as nice, but has a pleasing finish and I won't be afraid to carry it.

I wouldn't mind getting another M17 Colt DA .45 to round out the Colt Collection

1912 M06 Police Positive .38 special, high polish, Westchester Co., NY, Sheriff's Dept.
1915 M08 .380; delivered to Iver Johnson Sporting Goods on Boylston St., Boston, June 5.
1920 M03 .32
1910 M08 .25

Do you shoot your percussion revolver? I have a Colt 1860 .44 made in 1861. It's completely original and intact, and I've got almost everything I need to fire it for the first time. I'm picking up a can of black powder this weekend.

Haven't gotten around to it yet, but plan too when the weather cools down.

Posted a long time ago...I got it MLK day in 2011. Shipped to Springfield from Colt on November 27, 1917. All WWI trim save it has a Colt "G" replacement barrel which dates from 1937-1941.

Definitely an incredible example Tim! Certainly wish that one could talk. Had the holster been with it since WWII or did you add it?

I added the holster from the Marlboro Gun Show later that year. Came with the two WW2 magazines. Found the original 2-tone magazine a couple of years later, as well as the 1943 magazine pouch.
