On mine I can find only one serial number, engraved into the barrel
A friend of mine has one that has three, one on the barrel, one on the bolt, and one on the lower receiver on the top just in front of the trigger/fire control group.
Looking on the net suggests that the "serialized part" is the upper receiver, and not the lower receiver. Here's where I found that "data":

The upper receiver being the serialized part seems really weird, but it agrees with what I see on my storm.
