Calling 5 rounds at a time "safety" is quite a stretch. I know it's a lame club rule where fudds live, but still, calling it a safety rule is bullshit.

How did the Shoot go Coyote33? If not injured I would have been all over that. Any more this year? I should be GTG September maybe August.

For future reference, 5 round enblocs ok for Garands? (Rather than ejecting from an 8)

Don't know, wasn't there. This was not my thing, I was just posting it up for the club.

Load and eject 3 ....boy that sounds safe. I could just see muzzles dancing all over the place when shooters are doing that? Its hard enough to make sure everyone's muzzle is pointing down range during regular corse of fire.
Its easy to load a M1 5 rounds. Also as mentioned there are 5 round clips.
Anyhow as long as everyone has fun and no one gets hurt what can you do.

Just for a side note to safety rules...rumor mill has it prone will be eliminated at a club I go to.
See it's unsafe because you have a angle from prone to shoot over the berm?....funny I can get that same angle off the bench.
