Shining a wood stock on a Rem. 1100

What do people use to clean and shine the glossy wood coat? Would normal furniture polish like endust suffice?

Johnson paste wax for floors.

Endust is not furniture polish. I think it even says that on the can. It is a dust attractant you put on a dry mop to dust your house. Dust sticks to it, then you shake out the mop. Pledge is a furniture polish.
