Couple of the spots I bird hunt have extremely heavy cover and LOTS of briars. Heavy hunting pressure so you must bust through the brush to get your limit of pheasants. I typically don't wear gloves until it's well below freezing but I'm going to need something for this place and it shreds my stretch cloth gloves.
Any recommendations for unlined buckskin, leather, or goatskin gloves? Some sort of breathable synthetic? Should be a relatively close fitting glove. Price isn't an issue for quality and function but I don't care to spend just to have a 'brand'. $10 Walmart gloves do the job? OK by me. $100 gloves are best? Also OK.
Here's an example of expensive gloves that won't do the job because the backs of them are cloth and won't shed the briars:
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
