I've decided to clean out my safe and buy just one real nice semi auto 12 guage.

Winchester's Super X3 Flanigun Exhibition/Sporting 12 guage , so far it looks like it would be perfect for me.

The only thing holding me back is I havn't looked at any others. So I would really appreciate a little help to cut my time looking. Can any one tell me about a better shotgun for $900 new I would appreciate it.

What are you looking for in a shotgun? Skeet? Home defense? Hunting?

I just want one for the house and maybe once or twice a year trap.

That's really two different guns. But I will say this about that gun, it looks like it only holds 3 shots so if you get a decent double your only missing one shot for the home defense, and that'll take care of the clay pigeons for you.

It holds 5 from the factory and you can get a tube to hold 12.

For the price it's still cheaper than most shotguns like this isn't it?

Well that sounds about right then, that'll cover both worlds. I don't know much about those types of shotguns though.
