Time to resurrect this thread--I've got Colt fever! My next addition will be a Diamondback. Here's my modest collection.

Okay, as long as we're bringing this thread back.... I have two new additions.

First my 1972 Python with a 6" barrel.

And my 1976 Lawman MkIII in 357. I bought this for next to nothing at a local shop, traded it for a Sig P229 then traded back for it. I love Colt DAs.

Does a Sistema Modulo 1927 count as a Colt?

Richie Callaghan has a nickle-plated Diamondback in his shop in Marlborough. And I think I remember seeing a Diamondback at Undercover Arms in Hudson but I'm not sure. I'm positive about the one at Callaghan's, though. Tell him Ross told you to call.

I think most collectors see it as a Colt variant. It was made on Colt machinery, overseen by Colt factory technicians (at least at first). Would you consider a Norwegian Model 1914 a Colt as well? I would for the same reasons.

I'd say yes.... I want a 1914 Norwegian....
