Shush act

Whether Shush act passes or not, it won't impact MA. States can regulate anything that federal does not explicitly regulate. In other words, if suppressors come off NFA, the power to regulate/prohibit suppressors goes to the states.
A far more interesting bill is the reciprocity act. This law, if passed, will make gun licensing a federal issue and therefore preempting state laws. Unfortunately, this law will not impact firearm regulations in MA: we still going to have to deal with AWB and handgun rosters...

Rhode Island is neither a road, nor an Island, what gives?

Ummm, yes it's both.

Rhode Island. It's that bit of free pavement between road construction projects. A Rhode Island. They usually measure about 20-30 feet in length.

I swear 95, 295, 6,10, and 146 have been under CONSTANT construction since I got my DL in 1985. Damn. I've been driving for 40 years. Wow!
