Just curious, most of the local stores near me don't have this gun on hand. Why is this so hard to keep in stock? I've noticed it's not an issue with the 320....

Less popular and sought after. Probably fewer end up in stores.

And at that ~$400 price point I think they move fast if they're there.

Because nobody buys Sig Pros anymore. So why bother stocking a pistol nobody wants? I don't see this as being particularly difficult to get, if you really want one, though.

Well, I do...just bought it online. Normally I like to stay local but I don't feel like waiting on a shop to get it in stock....

Four Seasons has them from time to time. For the ~400.00 price, can't beat it. I have one, shoots real nice

If your looking to purchase one, Collector's in Stoneham had a few last Saturday in 9mm. Not really sure how much they were. 781 438-4013.

It's hard as anything for me to get up there before they sell out and the experience is like going to the DMV...but I agree Carl has the best prices.

Key is to go during the work week. Weeends at FS is an absolute zoo. Collectors in stoneham is a good place too. Quiet, not packed, good selection etc...prices are decent, sometimes as good as FS, but often a bit more

Was at FS yesterday, Saturday the 13th, and they had some SP2022's in stock but they wanted $499.99 this time around. When I picked mine up a few months back, I *think* it was ~425ish out the door.

I find the quietest times at the FS are Thursdays at 6pm. If you can make it at that time there is only about 4-5 other customers in the store. You got about 30-45 minutes before people start to filter in.

Looks like I'm going to have to wait; bought it, and the deal fell through when the buyer wouldn't ship it to me. Said it wasn't "on the list." Fortunately, he was decent and refunded my money in full but I was PO'd. Right back where I started from....

the SP2022 is absolutely on the list and any dealer should be willing to transfer one. now why one would want to drop $500 for an SP2022 is a bit outside my understanding but to each his own. also Sig is planning to discontinue the model and my understanding is they won't be supporting it for all the much longer, so this is another reason to not get into the SP2022.

if you really want a DA/SA gun in similar size, just drop a little extra $$ and get a P229, which is only like 3-4 oz heavier despite having an aluminum frame.

They are hard to find. At one point, I was told they were being discontinued... but then I saw new ones advertised again many months later so I guess not. [thinking]

I believe they jumped in price when they went to night sights. Unfortunately, that change made them less competitive in their class. Sig would much rather sell you a 320 today. It's where they see their future.

Well, in incredible turn around, he had a Massachusetts model in stock that he was willing to sell. A little more money naturally but I'll take it. It's been so lousy at work - screwing up left and right - I just can't seem to stay out of my boss's office - so I needed some good news. Lesson learned though..next time I'll hold out and just get long guns online. Looking forward to receiving it soon....

I have one I would sell. Barely used. Comes with Light/Laser and Sig Holster and spare mag. $425 if anyone wants.
