Sig GSR 1911 won't feed Fed HST reliably.

The gun only has about 200 rounds through it and ball ammo goes through just fine. However, Fed HST fails to feed. It seems to get hung up between the ramp and barrel. I have three mags for it. Two are the factory Sig mags and one is a Kimber.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Put another couple of hundred rounds of ball through it. It's not broken in yet after only 200 rounds.

It is a very tight gun and it's not like it isn't fun to shoot.

A little too much tension on the extractor can cause this problem. This is common in a new gun. As the other guys have said, just shoot it and break it in. I wouldn't consider such a failure a real problem until I had run about 1000 rounds through the gun.

It's pretty smooth as is. Not a mirror but smooth to the touch.
