Sig lines.

I can’t see them anymore!
(Yes I turned my phone on it’s side)

I think it’s that they don’t display on mobile devices but still show up on computers. At least that’s what I’ve had ever since the switch to this Xen platform.

Well then, I turned my phone sideways and they show up. So disregard everything I just said.

Clear cookies, history and reboot. Usually fixes most of the glitches that pop up for me anyway.

No issue for me using Brave on my Pixel 6 Pro... If you're using a [cr]apple phone with their browser, pick another. If the issue remains, ditch the [cr]apple device. [rofl2]

And if it doesn't,
at least you've lost your cookies and history.
[angry]
Although Google probably has them squirreled away for their own enjoyment,
so in some sense, it's not like they're actually "gone".
[shocked]
No judgements here bro. There’s something to be said for Russian monkey porn if the mood fits.
Everybody loves monkeys.

It is possible this change was on the forum's end and not the user?
I'll ignorantly opine it could be an aspect (bug, misfeature, lossage, ...)
of the site's CSS. I don't know how it's implemented in detail,
but that's how sites shape-shift when being viewed from
a desktop vs. a smartphone.

Not saying it's hand-crafted CSS - it could be out-of-the-box from XenForo.
(Find another XenForo-based web forum of similar vintage,
and see if the problem reproduces there?)

Upon a cursory glance, the underlying code appears to remain static whether viewed on mobile Chrome or desktop Chrome, including signature line code. There must be something, possibly CSS as you mentioned, that is telling the mobile browser to ignore the <aside> tag be default. I'd wager it is on purpose.

With some of the longer signatures out there, you'd be scrolling a lot on a phone. And that's annoying, particularly if the signature ends up being longer than the post it is attached to. This is less of an issue in landscape or on desktop, where a long signature might still only be a line or two. But that 1-2 line signature ends up being like 10 lines when viewed portrait on a phone.

BTW, not bitchin' - jus' sayin'.

Signatures have never displayed on mobile device sizes below a certain resolution (in general, portrait will not render them, landscape will).

Something has changed on your phone/browser to cause it to render the lower resolution CSS.

There have been zero configuration/CSS changes here in months, possibly years with regard to this specific issue.
