Sig P220 Elite -- no go in MA?

It seems Sig has only a limited number of "MA compliant" models. Is the P220 Elite model not approved for sale in MA?

I was interested in a Beretta pistol that was not approved, and got a negative response back from Berettta after inquiring about their intent to pursue sales in MA. Think Sig would be receptive to pleas?

The 220 elite is not approved though occasionally one comes up in the classifieds. I would love to see sig try to get the elite line approved but I think the trigger weight will be a problem.

You are more likely to find a dealer willing to transfer it than you would be to convince Sig to submit it for testing.
